Acceptable use policy
We try to stay out of your way. The rules below are short, and they exist so a QR from QRshop stays a thing you can trust when it lands on a table tent.
Don’t use QRshop for
- Malware distribution, phishing, or credential harvesting.
- Illegal content (CSAM, non-consensual intimate imagery, weapons trafficking, etc.).
- Trademark infringement, impersonation, or obvious scams.
- Spam or bulk redirects to unrelated domains (short-link cloaking).
- Circumventing platform bans by using our short-link service to wrap a blocked URL.
What we do if a QR is reported
- We investigate within 48 hours for credible reports.
- If it violates this policy, we pause the redirect and notify you by email with the reason.
- You can appeal by replying to that email. If it’s a clear-cut case (phishing, CSAM), the pause is permanent.
API and webhooks
Rate limits apply to protect the Service. Don’t burst above 60 requests/minute on the free tier or 600 on paid tiers. Webhooks that consistently fail for 14 days are auto-disabled; we’ll email you first.
